Please review the following terms, especially the special conditions for fine jewelry returns.
1. Policy Validity Period
This Return & Refund Policy applies to all orders within 60 calendar days from the date of delivery. Returns requested after 60 days will not be eligible for a refund, exchange, or store credit.
2. Eligibility for Returns
To qualify for a return, items must meet the following criteria (strictly enforced for luxury preservation):
Luxury Evening Gowns
- Unworn, unaltered, and unused (no signs of wear, makeup, or damage)
- All original tags, brand dust bags, and packaging intact
- No modifications (e.g., hem adjustments, alterations to fabric or embellishments)
Fine Jewelry
- Unworn, undamaged, and in original condition (no scratches, tarnish, or missing stones)
- Accompanied by original luxury gift box, certificate of authenticity, and warranty card (if applicable)
- Mandatory: Prior written confirmation from our customer service team (see Section 4 for details)
3. Non-Returnable Items
The following items are final sale and cannot be returned or exchanged:
- Custom-made/couture evening gowns (tailored to individual measurements or design requests)
- Made-to-order fine jewelry (personalized engravings, custom gemstone selections)
- Final-sale items (marked as "Final Sale" on product pages or promotional materials)
- Fine jewelry returned without prior customer service approval
- Items missing original tags, packaging, or authenticity documentation
- Damaged or worn items (evidence of use, accidental damage, or improper care)
4. Special Terms for Fine Jewelry Returns
Due to the high value, craftsmanship, and delicate nature of our fine jewelry, the following rules apply:
- Prior Approval Required: Contact our customer service team within 14 days of delivery to request a return—unsolicited jewelry returns will be refused.
- 20% Processing Fee: Approved jewelry returns are subject to a 20% processing fee (deducted from the refund amount), covering authentication, inspection, and restoration costs.
- Authentication Process: All returned jewelry undergoes a rigorous authenticity and condition check by our luxury jewelry specialists.
5. Return & Refund Process
Step 1: Initiate a Return
Contact our customer service team at support@elegeleges.com with:
- Your order number
- Product name and SKU
- Reason for return
- Clear photos of the item (including tags, packaging, and any alleged defects)
Step 2: Receive Return Authorization
Approved returns will receive a Return Authorization (RA) Number and detailed shipping instructions. Returns without an RA Number will not be processed.
Step 3: Ship the Return
- Package items securely (preferably in original packaging) to prevent damage during transit.
- You are responsible for return shipping costs (non-refundable).
- We strongly recommend using a trackable, insured shipping service (especially for jewelry) to protect against loss or damage.
Step 4: Inspection & Refund Approval
- Once we receive your return (allow 3–5 business days for processing), our team will inspect the item for eligibility.
- You will be notified via email of approval or rejection within 2 business days of inspection.
- Approved refunds will be credited to your original payment method:
- Evening gowns: Refund amount (less non-refundable shipping fees) processed within 1–3 business days.
- Fine jewelry: Refund amount (less 20% processing fee + non-refundable shipping fees) processed within 3–5 business days.
Note on Refund Timing
Bank processing times vary (3–7 business days for credit cards, up to 10 days for PayPal). We are not responsible for delays caused by financial institutions.
6. Exchanges
Exchanges are only available for defective or damaged items (verified by our inspection team):
- Evening gowns: Exchange for the same item (same style, size, color) if available. Contact us within 7 days of delivery to request.
- Fine jewelry: Exchanges are subject to Section 4 (prior approval + 20% processing fee, if applicable). Exchanges are limited to the same item or equivalent value (price difference applies if upgrading).
