Please review the following terms for our dress return and refund process, enforced to preserve the quality of our luxury pieces.

1. Policy Validity Period


This Return & Refund Policy applies to all orders within 60 calendar days from the date of delivery. Returns requested after 60 days will not be eligible for a refund, exchange, or store credit, and will be returned to the sender at the recipient’s cost.

2. Eligibility for Returns


To qualify for a return, all dress items must meet the following strict criteria—we uphold these standards to protect our luxury inventory and ensure fair returns for all clients:

  • Unworn, unaltered, and unused (no signs of wear, makeup, perfume, stains, or damage)
  • All original brand tags, dust bags, and packaging intact and unmarked
  • No modifications (e.g., hem adjustments, strap alterations, or changes to fabric/embellishments)
  • All original accessories (if included with the dress) returned in their original condition

3. Non-Returnable Items


The following items are final sale and cannot be returned, exchanged, or credited—all final sale designations are clearly marked on product pages and promotional materials:

  • Custom-made/couture evening gowns (tailored to individual measurements, design requests, or custom color selections)
  • Items marked as "Final Sale" on the product page or during checkout
  • Dresses returned without original tags, brand dust bags, or packaging
  • Damaged, worn, or altered items (evidence of use, accidental damage, or improper care)
  • Dresses with removed, damaged, or altered brand labeling

4. Return & Refund Process


Our return process is streamlined for efficiency while upholding luxury quality checks—all returns require prior authorization (no unsolicited returns will be processed). Follow these steps for a valid return:

Step 1: Initiate a Return Request


Contact our customer service team at info@elegeleges.com with the following details to start your return:

  • Your full order number
  • Product name, SKU, and size
  • Clear reason for return
  • High-resolution photos of the dress (including tags, packaging, and any alleged defects/ issues)

Step 2: Receive Return Authorization (RA) Number


Approved return requests will receive a unique Return Authorization (RA) Number and detailed, customized shipping instructions via email within 24 business hours. Returns without a valid RA Number will not be processed and will be returned to the sender.

Step 3: Ship the Return


  • Package the dress securely (preferably in the original shipping/packaging materials) to prevent damage during transit
  • You are solely responsible for all return shipping costs (costs are non-refundable, regardless of refund approval)
  • We strongly recommend using a trackable, insured shipping service for all returns—elegeleges.com is not liable for lost, stolen, or damaged returns in transit
  • Ship the return within 7 business days of receiving your RA Number (unshipped returns after this window will have their RA Number revoked)

Step 4: Inspection & Refund Approval


  • Once your return is received, our luxury quality team will inspect the item for compliance with our eligibility criteria (allow 3–5 business days for processing)
  • You will be notified via email of approval or rejection within 2 business days of the inspection—rejection notifications will include a detailed explanation and photos of the ineligible condition (if applicable)
  • For approved refunds: The refund amount (less non-refundable original shipping fees and return shipping costs) will be credited to your original payment method within 1–3 business days of approval.

Note on Refund Timing


Bank and payment processor processing times vary (3–7 business days for credit/debit cards via Shopify Payments). Elegeleges.com is not responsible for delays caused by financial institutions—all refunds are issued as authorized, and we will provide a transaction confirmation for all approved refunds upon request.

5. Exchanges


Exchanges are only available for defective or damaged items verified by our quality inspection team—we do not offer size/style exchanges for change of mind purchases. For eligible defective/damaged dresses:

  • Exchanges are limited to the same style, size, and color of the original dress, if available in our inventory
  • You must contact our customer service team within 7 days of delivery to report a defective/damaged item (late reports will be processed as standard returns)
  • Elegeleges.com will cover the cost of shipping the replacement dress to you (we do not cover return shipping for the defective item)
  • If the exact dress is out of stock, a full refund (less original shipping fees) will be issued instead of an exchange
